About Tamzen Holland Tamzen Holland’s fashion styling work has been published internationally in various media genres including magazines, billboards, newspapers and various campaigns. Her work blurs the boundaries between fashion and visual art resulting in conceptually driven styling. Beginning her career merchandising for Cirque Du Soleil, Tamzen then launched into fashion with celebrity styling, and editorial work. For seven years, Tamzen has been working as a fashion merchandiser and stylist, drawing from a background in fashion design, textiles and footwear. She is largely influenced by texture and colour and exploits the creative boundaries of a garment while maintaining its’ structural integrity in a way that makes for an impressionable look. Tamzen’s extensive knowledge in fashion history and historical garments, have given her the position of guest speaker at QUT University fashion discussions, lecturing in front of students and teachers. Her work has been featured in Ellements (NY), Culture, Institute, Papercut (UK), Kismets (UK), Peppermint, Chole (Canada), EnVie (Japan), MOD, Vigore (New York), Glacier, Vatra (Berlin), Cove, Fashion Weekly, Threaded(NZ), IZE, UV, bMag and Varsity Magazines. Samantha has a focus for the finer details and whilst most producers are good at getting the job done, not many are also able to think and communicate creatively about the requirements between creatives and the client. With her hands in many projects she has incredible versatility and an eye for quality.
The list of clients and production companies she has collaborated with is like a black book of who’s-who: M&C Saatchi, George Patterson Y&R, Sapient Nitro, Sony Music Entertainment, FremantleMedia Australia, Granada Productions, Southern Star Endemol, Accomplice, Blacklab International, NBC, Network Seven, Matchbox Pictures, Pictures in Paradise, Collider Films, 8COM, BFILMS, Bazmark Inc, Shine Australia and more!
Further to the work she does for clients, Samantha consistently pushes her creativity to produce independent content including branded online content with her other company A Different Beast, short films like The Boggabilla Bus (in-production) and Breathless (starring Gold Logie Nominee Esther Anderson) and long-form content including feature film “Rides of Hope” currently in development.
